La Figueraie Candle is made from 100% vegetable soy wax. Unlike paraffin-based wax (petroleum-derived), soy wax is plant-based and generally burns more cleanly, with less soot. A choice consistent with Hendiya's natural approach, including in our home fragrance line.

As with any candle: never leave it burning unattended, place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, keep it away from flammable objects or drafts, and out of reach of children and pets. Trim the wick before each use.

It's designed to scent a living space: living room, entryway or bedroom. Lit for a few moments, it diffuses the royal fig note throughout the room, for a soothing everyday or evening atmosphere.

Both share the same royal fig fragrance universe, but not the same diffusion method: the candle releases fragrance through combustion while lit, while the Home Fragrance Diffuser diffuses continuously, flame-free, via reed sticks. For the candle, fragrance diffusion is intentionally light: the focus is on creating a natural, elegant and soothing atmosphere, which pairs beautifully with the Home Fragrance Diffuser, our La Figueraie reed diffuser. Hendiya® skincare is formulated with a very high proportion of naturally-derived ingredients, generally above 95%, following formulation standards inspired by the COSMOS reference framework. We also select certified organic raw ingredients where relevant, particularly certain plant oils and signature raw materials in our formulas.
